Reporting
Full Operational and Financial Transparency
Aegis is committed to staying fully transparent about its operational and financial activities, that's why Aegis DAO members will be receiving regular reports about financials of the Foundation. Audits will be performed as well to ensure accuracy of the information provided to the community.
Regular Financial Reports
The Foundation Directors are required to compile and publish detailed monthly financial reports. These reports should include a summary of the DAO's financial position, including reserves, income, expenses, and profit distribution, to provide transparency and allow tokenholders to understand the financial health of the DAO.
Quarterly Audits
Independent quarterly audits must be conducted by a reputable external auditor to verify the accuracy of financial statements, assess compliance with regulations, and provide transparency into the financial activities of the DAO. The results of these audits must be shared publicly with all tokenholders.
Annual Financial Summary
At the end of each fiscal year, an annual financial summary must be prepared, outlining the financial activities of the past year, including profits, expenses, changes in reserves, and strategic financial decisions made. This summary should align with the DAO's long-term objectives and be accessible to all tokenholders.
In addition to scheduled reports, Foundation Directors must provide ad-hoc updates regarding significant financial events or decisions that may affect the community. These updates should be promptly communicated to maintain trust and transparency within the DAO.
All reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summaries, are available to tokenholders via Foundation Governance Portal under Foundation Documents and Reports section. Tokenholders should have the opportunity to review, comment, and ask questions about these reports, ensuring full community engagement and accountability.
